This seamless steel pipe is made of X42 pipeline steel and strictly adheres to the GR.B grade requirements of the American Petroleum Institute (API) 5L standard. It is specifically designed for fluid transportation engineering in the oil, natural gas, and chemical industries. X42 pipeline steel is a low-carbon microalloyed steel, produced through a controlled rolling and cooling (TMCP) process. The seamless steel pipe has a uniform microstructure, fine grains, and excellent balance of strength and toughness, with a tensile strength of 415-565 MPa and a yield strength ≥290 MPa, making it adaptable to complex geological conditions and dynamic load conditions.

The trench connection design is the core advantage of this seamless steel pipe. The ends of the seamless steel pipe are machined with standard grooves using specialized machine tools, with a groove dimensional accuracy of ±0.2 mm. Combined with high-strength rubber sealing rings and clamps, this achieves a fast and reliable mechanical connection. Compared to traditional welding, grooved connections eliminate the need for hot work, increasing installation efficiency by more than three times. They also facilitate subsequent maintenance and disassembly, making them particularly suitable for scenarios with high requirements for construction safety and schedule, such as urban pipe networks and industrial plants.

Regarding the seamless steel pipe material, the API 5L Gr.B standard strictly limits the content of harmful elements such as sulfur and phosphorus (S≤0.030%, P≤0.030%) and requires Charpy V-notch impact testing (impact energy ≥27J at -20℃) to ensure the steel pipe's resistance to brittle fracture under low-temperature environments and impact loads. Furthermore, the product supports full-process quality inspection, including ultrasonic testing (UT) and hydrostatic testing, ensuring 100% pipeline operational safety.
